Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus East Airport

This hotel is easily accessed from I-70. It’s very close to Legend Valley. Very easy drive after a long day of music.

Liked: This hotel was less that 30 minutes from our venue. They don’t use the weird bed covers that hotels used to have. It was fantastic they were gone!
Disliked: It seemed a bit sketchy when we got there and saw security people in Kevlar.

Liked: Beds were comfortable, fairly clean. Good location, friendly staff
Disliked: Our initial room smelled strange and had a device that said it could not be used in occupied rooms. Next day we switched to another room but it had damaged flooring.

Liked: 4. The staff was very nice. The location wasn’t bad if you’re not trying to stay right in the city, places to eat close by.
Disliked: 3. The property was meh. Very run down & old. I stayed 4 nights & the price was not worth it. The pool was dirty, like the water was clear but there were just dead bugs floating around everywhere & stuff at the bottom of the pool. There was no skimmer to even try and clean it up either but I’d see maintenance people go to the pool and empty out the filter & that was it. The pool is small, it goes from 3ft to 9ft quickly. 7. I had a double bed room which has carpet vs the single beds had hardwood floor. The carpet was just old and you could tell and it just almost felt sticky, I wore flip flops the entire time. The bathroom was probably the worst. The ceiling is super low also so like if you’re above 5’1 you’re gonna be crouching down to get under the shower head to get fully wet. There’s also no kind of like fan or exhaust system in the bathroom. The AC works but you’d have to set it to like 64 and still only really stay cooled if you were in the bed next to the AC. The hallways were extremely hot also.

Liked: We liked that the room and bathroom were clean. We liked the bed. The microwave worked and was easy to use. We liked the TV.
Disliked: The ice machines were extremely inconvenient to get to, then when I got there, on the opposite end of the building, it was broken. ☹️. I was too tired to go to the other floor to get ice. Having them in the middle makes more sense than the end of the building.We also didn't like that there was no breakfast. Booking.com needs to update it. I specifically chose a motel that supposedly served breakfast because my wife and I missed that the morning before. We were extremely disappointed.

Good stay but the breakfast...

Liked: Looks like the lobby was renovated. He looked nice. Pool is nice as well. It seemed clean. Overall it was a good stay.
Disliked: The toilet seat in room #221 needs to be replaced. It was damaged. Booking a room it states that breakfast is included. There is no breakfast included. That really why I booked this hotel. Also they advise a restaurant on site. It’s not even open.
