Liked: The staff were exceptionally lovely...very helpful and very friendly. The layout and size of the family room was great.
Disliked: I booked this hotel through booking.com as it stated that it was the closest hotel to Alton Towers 13.9 miles away. Alton Towers is actually 27 miles away and when I realised that upon arrival, I was slightly disappointed. I did mention to the receptionist and it was explained that it was a fault on Booking.coms behalf.After being in our room not only ten minutes a part inside of the toilet flusher broke which was a bit of an inconvenience but after speaking with the receptionist they came up with a way for us to do it until they could get a maintenance man on site the following morning. We were told the toilet would be fixed by our return the following day. When we arrived back at the hotel after a day walking round the whole of Alton Towers our toilet still wasn't working as a part now needed ordering in. We were then told by the lovely receptionist that we were ok to use the same toilet that they do. This obviously wasn't ideal especially with two kids, I did ask if there was an alternative room but I was informed that they had nothing that would suit us available.Not really a bad fault but having sockets next to the bedside cabinets would be great.

Ideal overnight stop on Southbound...

Liked: Situated on the Southbound M6 ideal for a stopover from Glasgow to London.Good clean room and comfortable clean bed.Receptionist was friendly and informative.Thank you
