Liked: Staff were excellent and super friendly. Excellent location and excellent value
Disliked: It is very very tired and in urgent need of a refurb. TV didn’t work, beds not very comfy, bathroom a bit manky, hole in bathroom door looked like someone had kicked it!

Liked: The staff were friendly and welcoming. The little sitting area in reception was nice to see. The bed was comfortable and the room large. Soap was provided in the bathroom as well as nice towels. Good shower and hot water.
Disliked: Signage via the Welcome Break to the hotel was poor. I was surprised that I had to pay for parking - this was not made clear at the time of booking as it stated 'parking available' This is deceptive marketing. The room doors were not soft-close and therefore made a banging noise. My room was nice and large but I soon discovered the carpet was full of human hair. I was on the ground floor and the weather was hot, but I did not feel safe opening the window. The sound of the motorway was quite loud and therefore the rooms need triple glazing. The windows on the ground floor need a security lock. I was also under the impression (through booking with booking.com) that breakfast was included. I saw the same hotel offered for £40 - I paid £52 plus parking and no breakfast. The tall mirror was so high that no cleaner under 6' could clean the top of it therefore it was not clean at the top. Interesting, the picture was 6" from the ceiling which means that the person who designed the interior had no clue. The bathroom was tired looking with a chipped toilet and bath.
