Disliked: Rooms tired and bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke.

We were delighted with our stay at Maidstone Days Inn; very quiet; we had an excellent night's sleep and the standard of the room with the extras could not be faulted. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Will not hesitate to stay at a Days Inn again.

Liked: The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities were good although the options for food were limited at the service station.We love a Days Inn and have used them for our annual trip to France. We will certainly be using them again!This was the view from our window.
Disliked: Not anything really. The situation is perfect for an overnight stay en route to the Tunnel.

Liked: I had to have a last minute room change on arrival as The room allocated to me was upstairs and I have limited mobility and can't manage going up and down the stairs, the receptionist was very understanding and found a room downstairs for me.
Disliked: I would have preferred being able to have the option of upstairs or downstairs as I didn't want to put disabled. Also, maybe you could have some taxi cab numbers somewhere as I don't know Maidstone and had to take a taxi each day to visit my mum in her care home, and I had to ring my daughter to look online for a number for me.

Good value stopover

Liked: The room was OK and I liked the bathroom
Disliked: On the day that I had booked to stay, the M20 was closed from Jct 7 to Jct 9. I tried telephoning the hotel when I was diverted off the motorway to ask for help in finding it, but failed to get any response. It rang out but there as no reply. Clearly this was an unusual situation but it might have helped me if my booking confirmation had shown a proper street address AND if care was taken to answer the phone when similar events occur.

Functional. Good location

Liked: Linen and towels clean. Room was basic but sufficient. Eating facilities nearby were enough for our needs. Good location for Leeds castle events.
Disliked: Bath was in need of refurbishment. I had to close the window due to generator noises I think emanating from parked up lorries. Didn’t like that the cost for Saturday night was double that of a weekday.
