Great place for a stop...

Liked: To start with we booked the accessible room. My husband has a full posture wheelchair and is paralysed down his left side so our situation is not normal. The room was clean. The bed was a very comfortable and we did sleep very well and was very grateful for that. There was no noise even though the accom is next to the A1 and a 24hr Mc Donald's. Also with the room being on the ground floor I was worried about noise from above but it is a single story part of the building and was perfect. The bathroom was clean. The shower was perfect along with the very stable shower chair and high level toilet with secure toilet seat.All staff members were excellent and helpful at all times.Great food too.
Disliked: Check out time being 11am. The room was spacey but still not big enough to maneuver the wheelchair easily.The bed was very low which I do understand is for abled wheelchair users but it was a nightmare for us. A good leaning curve for us as we now know we can't manage with a bed that low again.The bathroom again seemed okay but was more difficult when it came to trying to maneuver my husband and the wheelchair. The bathroom could do with a little TLC.

Liked: This was a great spot to stay on the way to Scotland. Staff lovely, room great and very comfortable bed. Meal deal great as well with really nice Chicken Tikka and a drink and a good breakfast.
