Days Inn by Wyndham Warwick North M40

Simple highway hotel, good value...

Liked: The room is spacious and comfortable. Good value for money. Everything reasonable clean. The receptionist was polite and helpful, flexible enough to change our room due to an issue with the TV.
Disliked: The TV signal as unstable, and the carpets looked a bit shabby. The worse: we arrived at the address provided on the booking to find that the hotel was closed. We asked around and we discovered that our reservation had been moved to the Days Inn Southbound. We later discovered that they had tried to reach us on the phone and by Booking messaging, but they did not try WhatsApp, which we would have received. At the end, we would have arrived 20 minutes earlier, and we had to go all the way back with highway exits and all.

All good but spoiled by...

Liked: Poor, not very fresh, therefore dry.
Disliked: Very, very noisy from tyre road roar or extractor/aircon fans

Liked: Staff were helpfull and bubbly, comfortable bed, and we had a good sleep
Disliked: Rooms were run down and dirty, but didnt expect much better with the price and location

Friendly staff, dated poorly maintained...

Liked: Easy check in
Disliked: Shower curtain smell, staff on reception had removed fan from the room, I had to request it and they provided it. On checkout the member of staff on the desk said the fan should have been in the room when we arrived.The bathroom was not clean up to standard in our room or my sons room.

Liked: Everything was great. easy check in, room was clean and comfortable. Felt safe.

Not happy

Liked: The lady on reception was polite and welcoming
Disliked: Not happy in overall as I've booked a 3 night stay for my relatives to save them sleeping on mattresses while visiting me, spent £230 for a family room which is a ripoff to recieve an email a couple days before the arrival that they've transferred them to their sister hotel on the other side of the motorway due flooding, so instead of a 17min drive I had to drive back and forth for 35mins each way to pick them up and drop them off every day which makes a big difference in fuel and milage. I get that they can't help the flooding issue however I would've expected a discount or a compensation for the inconveniences rather than a blank apology.

The facility has been condemned...

Liked: Northbound services are closed the building is condemned! Do you know how hard it is to get to the southbound!!’No one told me - not happy
