Days Inn by Wyndham Virginia Beach Town Center

Liked: Great room; very clean; it had all the items we wanted; would definitely stay again.

Liked: There were absolutely no positives about the Days Inn at Virginia Beach. Therefore, I will never stay at another one again.
Disliked: When we arrived at the Days Inn, we weren't greeted in a friendly manner at all. When going to check in, the young man, Shrey, asked for my ID card, and I gave him my military ID. He asked if I had a driver's licence, and since I had misplaced it before the trip I said no, and he told me the military ID would be fine to check in. He interrupted helping me check-in to help another guest, and then an older man came out to help us. He very rudely refused to accept my military ID because it had expired two months ago. I was unaware of this because I have never had any problems using it in the past couple of months. Even though I had that, and the credit card I used to pay for the room, and he understood the room was already paid for, he still refused to let us stay at the hotel with no apologies. We then left, and after an hour of searching, we found another hotel that was much nicer and they were happy to accommodate us. I will never stay at a Days Inn again.

Liked: The location was very convenient. The staff were helpful.
Disliked: There were roaches in the first room, and a wasp in my second room. The staff was helpful on getting my room switched

Disliked: It's disgusting! The bathroom was filty. The floors were so disgusting. The place smelled like stale cigarettes. The refrigerator smelled and was very dirty. This was the dirtiest motel I have ever stayed. The lights in the sink / bathroom area barely worked - trying to put make-up on in the dark
