Days Inn by Wyndham Virginia Beach Town Center

Liked: Great room; very clean; it had all the items we wanted; would definitely stay again.

Liked: There were absolutely no positives about the Days Inn at Virginia Beach. Therefore, I will never stay at another one again.
Disliked: When we arrived at the Days Inn, we weren't greeted in a friendly manner at all. When going to check in, the young man, Shrey, asked for my ID card, and I gave him my military ID. He asked if I had a driver's licence, and since I had misplaced it before the trip I said no, and he told me the military ID would be fine to check in. He interrupted helping me check-in to help another guest, and then an older man came out to help us. He very rudely refused to accept my military ID because it had expired two months ago. I was unaware of this because I have never had any problems using it in the past couple of months. Even though I had that, and the credit card I used to pay for the room, and he understood the room was already paid for, he still refused to let us stay at the hotel with no apologies. We then left, and after an hour of searching, we found another hotel that was much nicer and they were happy to accommodate us. I will never stay at a Days Inn again.

Liked: Location was convenient to where I needed to be.
Disliked: The hotel i stayed at was run down, there were cosmetic changes only but the property needed in depth work. For example, flooring appeared to have been added but it was obviously that the underlying structure need attention. The faucet was constantly dripping and the Aircon unit extremely loud. Additionally they majority of the guests were long term residents that lived there, i wish this was disclosed prior to booking.
