Great location, great employees, facilities...

Liked: The staff was amazing in trying to correct the many problems at the facility but were unable to fix them.
Disliked: When we stepped off the elevator on the 7th floor, the strong smell of weed was bad enough to cause a migraine. The employees tried to spray and cover up the smell but it wasn’t successful. The room had 4 tiny pillows for a king size bed and we requested additional pillows but they didn’t have any available. The safe in the room was not working. When we asked about it we were told to not use the safe, they were being replaced. Large water damage above the toilet in bathroom that was in the process of being repaired.

An amazing stay

Liked: We loved the location. We were right on the beach. The view was amazing. We didnt try the breakfast mainly because we slept past the time and my daughter is a Dunkin fan and was givin gift cards to use, so we would take the short trip down to grab something before heading out. We loved being able to stay parked in the parking lot and walk to the different stores. The bed I slept in wasn't to my liking, but I have back issues. My daughter said hers was very comfy. The pool was nice as well. We loved being able to walk out the door right onto the boardwalk. There was a spot where you could rent bikes. Can't wait to stay again to see what the resturant they are working on, will be. Our room had a counter section that had a sink so if one of use were in the bathroom but needed to use a sink, we still could.
Disliked: Only thing we weren't really thrilled with is the fact that you have to go outside the hotel to get into the pool area.

Disliked: There was a constant humming sound that came from the bathroom area, but could be heard during sleep.

Negative for the foregoing reasons.

Disliked: I asked about the price if I stayed over for another night, the clerk looked up the price and told me the price, then my friend and I decided not to leave and go to another hotel for convenience's sake as we had an early morning conference to attend, but then when my friend went to renew early the next morning, a rate considerably more than $100 MORE than I had been quoted just a few hours earlier was insisted upon. Eventually, after a LOT of hassle, the manager reduced the charge down to more like $30+ than I had been quoted VERY late the night before. And my friend had to miss much of the conference we were attending as a result of having to go back and forth via phone and then to meet in person with the hotel staff in order to get the price reduced to even somewhat close to what I had been quoted the night before for the room. I find that very disreputable. Had we been told the night before the sum that they instead suddenly started insisting upon instead just a few hours later, we would have gotten up earlier and moved to a different hotel for a more reasonable price and probably achieved better accommodations, but by the time we were surprised by their sudden exorbitant 'price change,' I would have had to miss much of the conference in order to have changed hotels at that point. And my friend DID have to miss much of the conference because of having to deal with all of the ensuing hassle, AND to be present there to be able to empty our room by herself and leave the hotel altogether by check-out time in case no acceptable-to-her compromise could be reached.
