Most employees were friendly with the exception of the lady at the desk on Sunday 5/22 - kind of snippy.

Liked: The floor and bathroom were clean.
Disliked: I booked it as a layover stop from Buffalo to NYC. Even though it is listed as a hotel, it screams a cheap motel all over it. Strong bleach smell gave me headache. The registration area smelt odd too. The ACs were old and dusty with ancient filters. As soon as I turned them on, they gave a funky smell as well. The metal beds squeaked with every turn. The couches looked dated and had stains.There were some exits throughout the first floor and anyone can go in and out. Big red flag. I initially planned to stay there overnight with my family and booked two rooms. But I had to check out after spending around four hours and drove back home. It is a cheap motel with hotel’s price tag. Absolutely disappointing.

Disliked: No refrigerator, no coffee pot no breakfast. Spongy/slimy donuts and coffee do not count as breakfast. It says breakfast do not send me to Denny’s false advertising. I picked this place because it said breakfast next time it will be the holiday express again. Everything there was clean and the breakfast was amazing. Also the pictures on line do not represent the hotel absolutely none of those pictures are accurate. I took pictures holes in the walls which some are patched some aren’t. The faucet in my room is falling off the wall in the tub. It smelt like weed in the hallway the entire time we were there. I have pictures on how dirty the floors were. The bathroom was clean in both rooms. We had two rooms booked none of us had the same blankets. One room had a refrigerator. It sounded like jets taking off and landing when the ac came on. Then the sound of dripping water . I had to get up and to make sure my room wasn’t going to flood. The staff was awesome. Plus the doors to the outside were accessible to anyone who wanted to enter the building. Multiple people complained plus we found men’s dirty underwear on the ground outside one of the entrance doors. Also men were drinking in the parking lot outside the rooms until late at night. Not a family place to stay. Also by the main entrance there was a man sitting in the bushes watching people entering at the main entrance. I can make the pictures public.

Disliked: Toilet was loose to the floor.Toilet seat was very loose to the toilet.Bathtub water spout was bent down and exposed wall piping.Played for queen size beds and got California queen size, which are about the size of a double bed.Breakfast provided was not a breakfast, but coffee and pastry.Beds were so high, my wife slept in a chair, she had trouble getting on the bed.

Liked: The staff, especially in the morning, were very friendly and understanding. When checking in the previous afternoon, our key cards would not open the outside door nearest our room. I went back to the desk and at first he didn't believe me but to his credit, he walked to the outside door with me and confirmed that it didn't work. We had to use a door that was further from our room.There are a few food options nearby within walking distance.
Disliked: The key cards would not open the outside door nearest our room. Someone got fed up and propped it open- security risk.Our room door was very sticky and had to be slammed into to open it.The towel rack in the bathroom fell off the wall. All of the screws were different so apparently misguided attempts had been made to secure it to the wall.Rooms have no fridge, coffee or microwave, and there was only coffee in the lobby (no breakfast).There were no tissues in our room and only a partial roll of toilet paper. We used the tp for tissues and didn't bother to call the front desk for more.
