Days Inn by Wyndham St Augustine/Historic Downtown

Liked: Restaurant on site; helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing was really bad, just kinda old.

It was fine for a one night stay.

Liked: Good location; room was nice.

Friendly service , nice pool and very close to all attractions. If you're hungry there's a Denny's connected and open late. I would recommend it for the price and location.

A bit disappointing but overall...

Liked: The team was responsive to my questions pre-check in, and they allowed us to check-in early and to park our car there for the whole two days we were in town. We had a clog in our shower but a maintenance person was able to fix it. We waited a while for him to come but he fixed it quickly once he was there. The room was decent. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but it looked large and deep so I wish I could have.
Disliked: I waited in line for 25+ minutes just to grab my keys. I had already checked in online and still had to fill out paperwork. There should be a digital key or an express lane for people who already checked in. I’m upset that I wasted so much time just waiting around. Also, we had a clog in our shower; a staff member was sent up as the bathroom was occupied, and he did not come back for about 45min-1 hr. The woman we spoke to on the phone was rude when he asked for the status of the person. She wanted to move us to a whole different building. Also, there was no elevator. This is a motel but I thought it was a hotel; it should have been cheaper for the quality.

Liked: Very friendly staff. Clean chk in area and love that the restaurant is on site. Staff of Denny's was extremely polite, courteous and meal delivery when ordered was HOT and FRESH. The room itself was very clean, beds and pillows super comfy. Shower was clean and updated as well. Only issue was... there were several roaches running and scattering around which seemed to be coming from under the mini fridge and dresser, that we must have disturbed when using the mini fridge...which barely cooled. Other then that, great place to stay, clean, affordable and pool was very clean and nice as well.
Disliked: The few roaches coming out from under the mini fridge and dresser w/TV on it. (it is Florida, BUT pest control should be notified)
