Staff was really nice. Other than that, I would not recommend to anyone. We stayed there in January, and it was colder than a deep freeze in there - and we had the heat cranked up.

Disliked: Pool and restaurant was closed. Really cold in our room.

Liked: Closeness to the hwy and major events! The breakfast was great! The staff was very helpful!
Disliked: The major bird droppings in doorway to the inner courtyard and other places! Room key did not open from the outside of the building so you had to go through the Hallways!

Liked: The hotel was conveniently accessible, and the inclusion of parking was a valuable benefit. The staff were courteous and helpful, consistently available to assist when needed
Disliked: During our stay, we found the noise levels in our section of the hotel to be quite disruptive. There were frequent loud conversations and doors slamming throughout the night, which made it difficult to get restful sleep. It also appears that there is some give in the door frames—when closed, the doors can still be moved slightly, which seems to amplify the sound when they shut. This may be a common issue across multiple rooms and could be contributing to the overall noise disturbance.

Liked: Advised of a better place to park the car and reception rang up to ask if we had settled in OK
Disliked: Breakfast was basic but adequate. Choice slightly limited compared to other similar style breakfasts but did suffice.

Enjoyable, restful and relaxing!

Liked: The front desk gentleman named Vaser was very friendly, helpful and guided me to an excellent taxi service.
Disliked: Didn't like that there was no milk/cream for coffee/tea once breakfast was done.

Liked: My rooms are always clean, fresh, and welcoming. The front desk staff is polite, quick, and thoughtful.
Disliked: The rooms need to be soundproof. You can hear people in the halls as if they were in your room. Especially the rooms around and above the pool. Those rooms are the worst for noise.

A pleasant surprise of a...

Liked: First, we chose this property because we were just passing through for a couple of days and didn't want to spend a lot of money. For the price, we expected it to be marginal but it completely beat our expectations. It's certainly an older property but the rooms have been nicely updated, nice bedding, lots of electrical outlets, the long hallways have very bright lighting, the public areas are spare but acceptable, breakfast offers the basics but the gal working this area was super helpful. She was upbeat and friendly, keeping the pots and bowls and boxes of all food and supplies quickly refilled. The front desk was fully of staff--no waiting--and to a one, all of them wore a smile and sincerely asked how they could help. There is a little bar area, laundry, very nice pool, comfy beds, and really good Wifi. The location is a little rough, not dangerous but along the RR tracks and in an older part of town. But for our needs, it was just fine. It was a short way out of the downtown area, no more than a mile walk, if that. Free parking, change for the laundry, which was only $2 per washer/dryer load.
Disliked: The only thing that was a turnoff is the exterior, first impression of the property. It's a bit scraggy and not well-kept at the front or side doors. Cigarette butts, a bit dirty, no flowers or plants out front. Kind of sad looking, and that's a pity because the inside was very clean and tidy in both our room and all the public places. A small amount of extra effort outside this property once a day would make a huge difference. However, don't let this stop you from booking here. It's an excellent value for the price.
