Days Inn by Wyndham Penn State

When we arrived the lady (wish I remembered her name) at the check in desk was so nice and helpful. It was so refreshing to be greeted by someone who appeared to like her job! She was really a fun person, you're lucky to have her. The lady that took care of breakfast was also very friendly and helpful, nice person to start the morning off. I didn't meet anyone else - I hope your other staff are like these two women. Please let them know how much they are appreciated and not taken for granted, need more people like them in this business!

Ok place near Penn State...

Liked: Good location just 8 minute drive from the East side of Penn State campus. Easy to find. Close to grocery stores and other shopping. Easy parking.
Disliked: This hotel seems like it needs some refurbishment. Beds were very soft and not comfortable. I should have looked closer, but the two beds were full size and not queen. The frame around the mirror in the bathroom was cracked and broken. When we woke up the first morning, there were ants all over the desk where a few crumbs had been left the night before. The breakfast was really sparse and not great.

Liked: Property was close to restaurants, shops and college.
Disliked: It could use some updates like fans in the bathrooms to keep the mirror unfogged. The beds were also very hard.

Liked: Hotel was nice, very clean, great location. Staff went above and beyond with helpful information and friendliness. Breakfast was sufficient.
Disliked: We had a bit of a problem with a noisy AC unit at midnight. Staff offered to switch our room. We opted to turn the fan down. When turned up in the morning, the noise had diminished. Staff at check out apologized and said maintenance would check it out

Disliked: Outside looked run down. I could hear water running in other rooms while in my room, bathtub had hair in it and it was not mine, the gap was about a half an inch high under the main door to the hallway. That made me feel unsafe and so much light flooded into the room while I was trying to sleep.
