OK and I actually would stay there again.

Liked: Good location, central.
Disliked: Clean up the hallways and check sockets in rooms - mine did not work properly.

I enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Cozy. I like how there's a living room off to the side.
Disliked: No microwave. Bathroom needs a fan.

Disappointed with Security and Customer...

Liked: The location is convenient and fairly close to downtown.The room itself was clean and generally comfortable, so no complaints there in terms of cleanliness.
Disliked: I recently stayed at the Days Inn by Wyndham Ottawa with my wife and daughter. The location is convenient and fairly close to downtown, but the surrounding area was filled with homeless individuals, which made us feel uncomfortable, especially when walking around with my family.The room itself was clean and generally comfortable, so no complaints there in terms of cleanliness. However, the biggest issue was with the room's security. The lock on our door was damaged and didn’t work properly. When we had to leave the room, we couldn’t lock it, meaning anyone could have entered at any time. This was extremely concerning, especially since I was traveling with my family.I reported this immediately to the front desk. Unfortunately, the only action taken was that they said they'd check the security cameras. That didn’t feel like an effective or responsible response for such a serious security issue. I expected at least a room change, but they claimed the hotel was fully booked. I would’ve appreciated some sort of gesture—maybe a complimentary service or a discount—but instead, I was charged an extra fee for parking the next day.Thankfully, nothing was stolen, but the whole experience left a bad impression. When you're traveling with your loved ones, you expect the hotel to prioritize safety and take concerns seriously. I hope management improves their customer service and security response moving forward.

Our stay exceeded our expectations.

Liked: Location was perfect. Walking distance to my race, to the sights, and to the eatery/bar rows. Complimentary brewed coffee was good. Free cable too. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: They could have offered breakfast.

Liked: The staff, check-in, parking and the room itself were good.
Disliked: The facility itself is old and needing renovation. The halls were older and darker and the lobby in need to updating.
