Liked: There was nothing to like about the property. Very run down
Disliked: The hotel was run down. There were outlets in the room that didn’t work. The hair dryer didn’t work. Not very clean. The staff was very rude. Charged me twice for the room and got annoyed that I was bothering them about it. Manager not there every day.

Roaches, in need of repairs,...

Liked: The staff was nice and the price was fair. Definitely not the staffs fault for what we did not like.
Disliked: A lot. The room smelled terrible walking in. It was clear based on the ceilings and lampshades smoking had been done in the "non-smoking" room. Multiple roaches were seen crawling throughout. The bathroom: tub was worn & sealant around tub was moldy, the toilet was okay but had obvious duct tape where the plumbing met the wall and the bottom of the toilet near the floor was dirty and you could still see a visible urine stain. One linen, hand towel, had a hair on it. The hair dryer had who knows what caked inside of the filter area and the end of the plug was falling apart. The coffee machine had spots of who knows what on it. You could see on the rack where you hang clothes they just painted the room and just had a field day letting the paint do whatever. The metal bars also showed rust. There was a "patched" hole in the wall that was obvious and still wasn't patched well. The bathroom door had a chip at the top. The bed linens appeared okay and no signs of bed bugs but the mattresses are definitely old & worn. Behind the bed in the little gap area from the wall and box spring there was dust, dirt, hurt and no idea what else. Behind the nightstand the receptacle was COMPLETELY exposed (no plate covering) which was *sarcasm* so great for our 4 year old. We had to leave all our stuff in our vehicle to eliminate any chance of bringing roaches back home with us. Couldn't even sleep at all cause we were so worried about roaches crawling on us since one was found crawling on top of the bed. Only reason we stopped was because we had already been driving from FL back to NC for 10 hours and knew we needed rest, especially our toddler, since it was close to 7pm and had another 6 hours left. If we hadn't been in a rush and read other reviews we would have kept going just a bit more. This Days Inn is in serious serious need of repairs, updates and pest control.

Disliked: Checkout is at 11, housekeeping comes around before. The sink stops up. Not enough vacuuming, roaches are present, housekeeping could clean more thoroughly.
