Liked: The location to the hotel was great. When I walked into my room it smelt lovely. The check-in clerk was very friendly.
Disliked: My interaction with the manager supervisor was it very pleasant. She was very abrasive when she was speaking about me having to change rooms because of a plumbing issue and I shouldn't have gotten checked into my room when I did. Also facilities just walked into my room without knocking to make sure that there was no one in there because it wasn't checked that I had already been checked in to the room.There were a group of teenagers that stayed during my stay and from like 10:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. my first night they were running up and down the halls and up and down the stairs.

Liked: Friendly staff, clean room, had extra bathroom supplies, great walkability to harbour
Disliked: The back gate was locked early in the morning when many athletes were trying to get to the Ironman start. Next year for Oceanside IM 70.3 please open gate earlier.

Did the job but train...

Liked: It was a very convenient location for Ironman 70.3 Oceanside, however, it was right next to a train track with very noisy trains which I didn’t realise when booking. The room was absolutely fine, no complaints. The staff were excellent.
Disliked: Train noise.
