Days Inn by Wyndham Mt. Vernon

Good location but questionable quality.

Liked: Breakfast area was in the lobby and minimal - coffee and cereal.
Disliked: Room had been upgraded, but not by a professional. The floor was loose in places and not even. The trim was missing going from the living area to the bathroom. But most serious was the wall electrical receptacles. The did not hold a plug securely and arched when a plug was inserted - a source of a fire waiting to happen.

They need to invest more...

Liked: I haven’t seen bad hotel as this one.
Disliked: It the worst place I’ve ever stayed in, very bad and got skin infection from the bed

It worked, we slept and...

Liked: Did not eat, nothing appealing. No fruit, no yogurt, no bagels or donuts, waffles, eggs or bacon.
Disliked: An available attendant in the morning, some things to eat, more places to sit in the room, more lighting in the room and bathroom, better tv.

Liked: Don't know if I would stay there again
Disliked: The floor was lifting up. Cut toe on the corner of the floor

Run down in desperate need...

Liked: Location was ok
Disliked: Old rundown rooms with ceiling falling down from previous leek.Nothing like the obviously staged photos on the website

Disappointing

Liked: What breakfast cold cereal old coffee poor presentation WINDOWS ON THE MAIN LOBBY FILTHY
Disliked: OLD DATED WATER PROBLEM FROM PRIOR EVENTS. HOMELESS OUT LOBBY HITTING ON YOU FOR MONEYNOT WHAT I EXPECTED FROM WYndham

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Smell like smoke I had my elderly mother with me. They wouldn’t even give me a jointing room. Staff was rude. Overall, we just had a very horrible feeling.
