Disliked: upstairs was a steep climb, ice machine was downstairs, coffee and juice wasn't available until after 8:15, way over priced for a basic room, we arrived Friday and left Sunday and the maid didn't clean the room on Saturday, the door had to be pushed closed from the inside and pulled from the outside or it wouldn't latch otherwise, the room was too small to have two beds and there was only a nightstand in the middle so the person on the outside wasn't able to place reading glasses or a cup of water by the bed at night, I placed it on the ac unit which was about 6 inches away (I had to scoot to the end of the bed to get out.

Liked: We stopped here last minute on our way home to southern california from up north near Crescent city. It was one of the cheaper rooms I found, very very last minute, with 2 beds and a couch for my family of 5. I was very thrilled with the cleanliness of the room and everything in it. I didn't interact with any of the staff, but my husband complimented them a few times which says alot cuz he's a grump. We only stayed the night for a place to sleep, but I was sad to have to leave and wish we could have stayed a little longer. I will definitely return here when I had back up to Monterey to actually vacation there with my girl friend. 110% recommend this place to stay
