Liked: Not a lot
Disliked: Location,not close to anything.Amenities in the room were lacking and the bed was very uncomfortable Manager very unhelpful and unforthcoming

Great value in an expensive...

Liked: Bed was comfortable and room was nicely remodeled. Was surprisingly quiet (no noises heard through the walls or from the parking lot) which is unusual for a motel.
Disliked: Couldn’t locate a vending machine to purchase a soda

Convenient, but buildings and rooms...

Liked: Convenient to downtown Monterey and it was easy to walk everywhere. Parking was available and free to guests.
Disliked: Staff at desk was not skilled at checking people in. Couldn't find reservations; credit card system wasn't working; and rooms weren't ready when requested. When checking out, I had to ring the bell 2x's, plus the door beeped when coming in, but no one came to assist. I had to speak loudly to get someone to help. Lastly, TV didn't work well.

Suited our needs at the...

Liked: Location was excellent and staff friendly. Lots of space within the room. Good parking.
Disliked: Bathroom was older style but functional.

Liked: Nice location. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Parking was tight. Front door on room needs replaced, daylight & draft when closed.
