Disliked: The room was not clean enough, air too stuffy and bathroom was disinfected with chlorine cleanser that the whole room smelled. Over knobs were missing, asked the front desk lady to move us to a different room which was impossible on that day. The day after it was a hassle to move to the third floor, so we stayed in the room as is.

Great vacation in San Diego....
Liked: Room was comfortable and kitchenette exceeded our expectations. The full kitchenette was a big plus since we stayed for a week. We were able to use pots/pans and kitchenware for a small deposit which was returned upon our checkout. Nice location, close to freeway and stores. Quiet which was a huge plus. Overall, staff were friendly. We liked the on site security who patrolled the facilities all throughout the night. Made us feel secure and safe. Air conditioning work well, another big plus. Water pressure was amazing, definitely helped after a long day of walking.
Disliked: Upon entering our room we did notice the scent/odor of cigarette smoke. Called the front desk several times but did not get an answer. We had to go downstairs to let the front desk know, she said she'd send housekeeping up but they never came. We ended up purchasing room deodorizer and disinfect ourselves. The cable consistently went out so we were not able to enjoy TV while we were in our room. This happened on a daily basis. Front desk staff stated many other guests have complained but the owner refuses to do anything about this issue.Also the length of time it took for elevator was rather long. We had to wait for a long period of time for the housekeeping crew to exit the elevator then request it to come back. We did request a room close to the elevator or ground floor for disabled accessibility/ease, but were not accommodated. Both my husband and I have severe spine issues which affect our mobility. This is something that should be seriously taken into consideration when guests book and enter the request.

Disliked: there is a $100 cash only deposit I told him that it don?t say that anywhere in the booming he argues with me I show him on my phone and he tells me it?s hidden then I ask him for his customer service number or his manager and he tells me there is none that just some guy owns a lot of hotels in he tells me there?s an ATM machine at a restaurant down the street I go there ATMs doesn?t work it was a very inconvenient time and the man was very rude I?m sure he deals with a lot but he was very rude and unapologetic and lied and said that there is no customer service line that there is no manager
