Days Inn by Wyndham Marietta-Atlanta-Delk Road

In general I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else unless there were some maintenance issues taken care of and a new staff were hired who enjoyed customer service.

Disliked: I put the rating of "disappointing" not because I expected a 5 star hotel for the price that I paid but because I do expect for a hotel to be safe in all aspects and clean. We always get a hotel with a pool for entertainment for our kids because we don't have a lot of money to spend when we go somewhere but the pool was dirty and cloudy. Safety was definitely an issue. The bar to hold onto to walk down the steps into the pool was loose which is dangerous and the ladder to climb out of the pool was also loose. When I sat in one of the pool lounge chairs it cracked and I only weigh 145 lbs. There were a lot of lights in the walkways that were blinking constantly or just out. The rooms were not very clean, hence the roach we found, and the front desk people were not very friendly - like they would rather be somewhere else. Like I said I realize this was not a 5 star hotel, but I have been in one before that was just as old but the staff were super friendly, willing to do whatever needed to be done to make us, the paying customer, satisfied with our stay. Attitude goes a long way.

Pleasant

Should be a $50 hotel...

Liked: Convenience of location, friendly staff, quiet area, shower was hot, toilet didn't run and tub didnt leak.
Disliked: The hotel should have been better for the price. There was mold on the ac unit vents which most likely was the cause of the odd smelling room, lumpy floor in the room and hallway, terrible carpet, scratchy blankets, pool looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while, elevator made strange noises and was super slow, just...disappointing for a Days inn. I thought the sign outside said something about remodeling had been done, but there was no real evidence of remodeling.

Disliked: Roaches in the rooms. Had to change my rooms 3 times due to mold and bugs

It was fine.

Liked: It was quite and the staff was friendly.
Disliked: The bed was not comfortable and the room was dirty.

Disappointing

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: They had no extra sheets covers for the bed nor towels.We took the old covers off. Because they were blood stains on them. Went to the lobby for more they said they will wash those, but they didn't have any extra ones. We ended up going to Walmart to purchase. Covers for the bad ourselves. There was a lot of traffic from guest who are staying at the hotel.They were up all times a night, The TV did not work.

Passable

Liked: The bed was comfortable
Disliked: The plug in for your phones didn't work unless you flipped the light switch. The cover on the bed was stained. The lady at the front desk said she was gonna bring us some extra towels and never did. She actually got off work then the new clerk couldn't get in the laundry. There was 2 towels, 1 wash rag and a hand towel not enough for us. The AC wasn't acting right.

Liked: The staff was friendly except for the cleaning staff. The lady was very rude & had a bad attitude.
Disliked: The comforter on the bed is old school makes you think of a Ho Tel. The halls r dirty, ppl hanging outside all day & on the steps. And the 3rd floor has holes in the floor as you walk down it. And I started seen roaches.

Disliked: There was no tools n the room no extra blankets and no place 2 hang ur clothes.plus I left my tennis bracelet laying on the bed and no 1 seems 2 have found it
