The front desk attendant was in no hurry to check us in. The electrics was very strange. We had to unplug the lamp by the TV to operate the TV and vice versa. The clock never worked. A very angry pool attendant was also very rude to us when we were swimming 1 minute past the pool closing time. One good point - the room was clean.

We were pleased with our stay at the Mankato-Days Inn. The room seemed clean and the bathroom was clean which is the most important thing! Bed was comfortable. We were close to downtown and the Ribfest and Tracy Lawrence concert. Easy to get to and get back!

Would stay in a different...
Liked: The hotel was clean and the pool and hot tub were a nice luxury during our stay.
Disliked: The staff was rude and inattentive. The vending machine didn?t properly work and when we addressed the hotel staff about it they were hesitant to refund our money that the vending machine took. Breakfast left a little something to be desired and was mediocre at best. The area was not the greatest.

Bad Service and Dishonest.
Liked: Nothing comes to mind.
Disliked: They wanted to increase the price when we checked in and we had to pay an extra $8 per person to use the swimming pool. Then they closed the pool early. The lock on our room door was broken. The bed had a spring poking out of it and everytime you got off the bed you would hear a clunk. The evening staff was very rude. We mainly stayed for the pool but with the extra cost it would be cheaper to stay at a hotel without a pool and pay to swim at the community center, college or YMCA which have better pools. For every extra cost the man cited insurance for the reason.
