Days Inn by Wyndham Manassas Battlefield

Disliked: Non smoking rooms smelled of smoke. No place to put clothes, i.e. dresser or closet. Wasn't informed that the breakfast that was included was only from 6-9 am.

Do not recommend!

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Room was dirty and woke up to a roach in the bathroom.

We went to a concert at Jiffy Lube Live and this hotel was very convenient to the venue. The lobby and our non-smoking room all smelled like smoke. The "fire door", which had a sign that said it must remain closed at all times, would not close, and the beds were not comfortable at all. There were a lot of places to eat and other stores in the general area and it was convenient to Route 66.

Liked: Location and price.
Disliked: The "non-smoking" room and lobby smelled of smoke and beds were not comfortable.

It met our need to...

Liked: The room had a fridge and microwave. Both were useful.At all times, whoever was at the front desk was nice and helpful.Sufficient parking, close to the rooms.A baklava place called Bakelava within walking distance.
Disliked: The room could have had power sockets on both end tables, and on the table and bedside lights.Walking barefoot in the carpet, and then into the bath tub revealed that the carpet was dirty. Please take care of this.Though it didn't bother us, the TV could have been better.

Disliked: The attending manager was rude and kept lying about things that he told my families who were in two different rooms. Our first room had no type of security, when we first came in the screen window was open. And then we looked around the room we noticed that the night latch was broken. We told the manager he said he will try to see if maintenance could come to fix it. We asked to see if they had any other available room, he showed us really much of a difference. The only thing that was different was that there was a desk pushed in front of the connecting room door. He said that it wasn't a connected room, but you could see that it was. We asked if there was a way to cancel the reservation, we were told since we booked through a third party we would have to go through them. So we did, and then we had to wait while Booking called them. When they were done with that we were told that they could cancel the reservation, but to get the refund we would have to go through the hotel. So we walked back to the front to ask about it and was told that we could get a refund for the last two days, but would have to pay for the first night because we used the room and that we were there for two hours already. Which we didn't all we did was pull the bedsheets to check for bedbugs and spray lysol on it. And since we did that and the cleaning ladies were gone already we would have to say. And when we said that we were here for so long because we have to wait for him to come back to check anybody in, and call maintenance, he told us that it wasn't his problem. We ended up staying because any room that we looked at to get were already booked. We went out Saturday and came back to our room to see that there were no clean towels. When we went to the front we were told that they only come on certain days of the week. One set of days we were told were Monday Wednesday and Friday. The other set of days he told my uncle was Tuesday and Thursday.
