This was hands down the WORST experience at a hotel ever (and we've stayed in some hole in the walls)! We frequently travel and go to events so often stay in hotels (budget friendly - we prefer this as we spend little to no time in the room), and this is the first time ever a place has been so awful we wanted to write a review and warn you AWAY. You are given a security key for the security keyed entrance but all exterior doors are lodged open so any Joe Shmoe can get in. The A/C unit did not work, toilet could/would not flush, no hand soap in the bathroom or the sink area to wash your hands or shower - but they did have a complimentary shampoo. There were pubic hairs (not ours) on the side of the tub, right next to where the clean towels were! Originally this room was booked for the price and 'book now pay later' option, and only so that we had a place to put a change of clothes at while we went to a concert and so we'd have a place nearby to come sleep after drinking at the concert. We've stayed at others (same price range and vicinity) and will be again next week. Do NOT book here, there is a Days Inn right next door - same price range, BOOK THERE! We've been there with zero complaints and where we will be each time we're in town for all of the summer concerts. We made the mistake to not go that time, only because they didn't have the 'book now pay at check in' available that night. NEVER again will we use that option (yeah, we have stayed at cheaper and way more expensive places; we're a normal classed, middle aged couple, not prissy, so trust this is a legitimate complaint/warning) - 5 thumbs down, absolutely disgusting.

Liked: Location amongst many restaurants and convenient stores
Disliked: Unhealthily unsanitary. Halls and elevator floor dirty. Walls soiled from food/beverage splash. Tub soiled from previous use and grime you could wipe with just your hand. Sink and toilet delayed draining. Several ceiling water marks from previous leaking. Chair stained with large liquid spillage. Both bed blankets with cigarette burns. Manager not interested in seeing the video footage, just refund and check out due to Indy 500 weekend giving the opportunity of receiving another booking because all hotels in the area fully booked.

The hotel was budget friendly...

Liked: The bed was comfortable and we liked that our request was honored for our room location.
Disliked: I experienced a few issues during my stay that unfortunately did not meet my expectations. Specifically, the window had no screen, pillows lumpy, and outside side door did not have a secure lock in place for key card access so anyone could enter at any time of the day. Safety was a concern.
