Liked: We stay at this hotel every year for the SEC Tournament. Location to the Hoover Met, restaurants, gas stations & stores was great! Cleanliness & being a safe area also met expectations. The bed & pillows were satisfactory. The price was good for a budget hotel. Staff was friendly upon check in.

Liked: Location was near everything we wanted to do and go.
Disliked: When we entered our room there was a brown recluse spider hiding near the bedside table. After taking care of it I took a better look to make sure and it was a brown recluse unfortunately after counting its six eyes and the violin marking. I got my flash light out and checked every corner and hiding space and that was the only one I found throughout the stay.
