Disappointing

Liked: Easy to find. Speed of check in and friendly staff.
Disliked: Really grubby and needed a good clean. Run down and in need of an upgrade.

Exterior tired but interior makes...

Liked: Friendly check in staff, the outside of the hotel looks tired but we were pleasantly surprised that we had a very clean modern room.
Disliked: No issues with hotel at all. Pizza Express in services an absolute shambles - useless staff, walked out without eating as waited ages for service.

Reasonable value for money and...

Liked: Location and nearby shops at service station
Disliked: Paying for parking and a dog barking in the hallway in the early hours and street car racers gathering bin the carpark. One of the staff being a little rude about not having enough keys when I asked for another one. Please look after your staff in the heat as they have no AC at reception even a small ac machine is not expensive these days.

Disappointing

Disliked: There was an unwelcoming smell on the staircase behind the reception, in the room there was bits of waste left behind from the previous guest, and a suspect brown stain on the ceiling above the bed. Room was also very warm, as no aircon.

Good comfortable clean overnight stop...

Liked: it is a perfectly good place for an overnight stop on a long journey. it does exactly what it purports to do. easy check in, staff on reception, even at a late night check in, are very efficient. parking is outside.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike
