Liked: The location was great because I could walk to the beach or downtown Encinitas
Disliked: It could’ve been a little cleaner. And there was no coffee in the room. I had to go downstairs to get it.

Liked: It was conveniently located for what we wanted to do.
Disliked: 1. The air conditioning unit for our room did not work so our room was very hot. However the next room’s air conditioning unit was so loud it kept us awake at night. 2. The carpets were filthy, staining our feet and socks when we walked on them. 3. The bath has rusty brown stains all over it. 4. Housekeeping twice ignored our requests for a room clean, and on one day ignored our request for no housekeeping. 5. The place was noisy in general, resulting in great difficulty sleeping. This was not helped by our in-room refrigerator whirring noisily all the time. All in all one of the most disappointing places I’ve ever stayed. If possible I would like a refund for all of part of our stay.

Liked: Good location. The bed was comfortable. Across the street is a food store.
Disliked: Cleanliness is questionable, the carpet on the floor was very dirty. The bathroom, towels, the bed and sheets were clean.

Liked: The hotel is well-located, with plenty of shops easily accessible on foot.
Disliked: The toilet was in poor condition, with broken taps, a faulty shower, a damaged door, and many missing room amenities. We had to request each of them individually. Although they advertised free breakfast, it was very minimal—just granola bars and oats. They didn’t even provide coffee creamer. We’ve stayed at hotels that don’t advertise breakfast, yet still offered a much better selection.
