Days Inn by Wyndham Edmonton Downtown

It suits the purpose but is so run down and in desperate need of an upgrade to at least 1990's.

Liked: Friendly staff.
Disliked: Smelled really strange; not enough outlets; badly needs repairs and paint; super cold; street light right outside our window; elevator can only hold 5 people at a time; poor parking.

Disliked: No parking

Stay overall was not up...

Liked: Location. Beds were good. Daytime staff were excellent.
Disliked: the parking, night time staff not friendly, bathroom did not have a vent, not enough plug outlets,

We should’ve booked elsewhere

Liked: Location was good for what we were doing in the city
Disliked: First night neighbors were very loud partied till 6 am next night there were people in the hall being loud from 11:30-12:30 . There was also no hot water after travelling all day couldn’t shower never stay here again

Affordable but can be better

Liked: It was okay, the location is good, the staff are very friendly. The place is rather small but clean. I wasn't at hotel a lot, so it was okay in that sense. It was also way cheaper than other hotels in the DT Edmonton. The staff were super friendly too.
Disliked: Some basic things that I really expected but was not available (interestingly):- No slipper in the room were provided, and although I asked for one, it was not available -- so I got a extra pair from a friend of mine from another hotel.- bottle of water was available only from vending machines (you couldn't get from lobby)- There was a small fridge that you could request for so they provide for you, it was very very very slightly cold. And if you put sth in it, definitely would perish.- The most important one was that there was no power outlet provided in the room that you could have access easily. All of them were occupied by standing lights. There was one in the back of the mattress that you needed to move the mattress a lot so a adaptor can fit. It was a total headache in that sense
