Basic room and breakfast but...

Liked: Comfortable bed and quiet room.

Bad

Disappointing

Liked: It was very conventient, close to the Colllege of St Scholastica and Highway 35.
Disliked: I did not like that the toilet was so low to the ground and that it did not flush properly. I had to call the attendent to fully flush the toilet.

Good

Liked: Parking convenient resturanr bar nearby.Could walk out in the evening no issues
Disliked: Property a bit aged and ready for renovation

Liked: The location was nice to be close to local attractions
Disliked: I attempted to get an early check and was driving almost three hours in to duluth. I'll messages me a variety of check in and put options with a fee. I set my arrival time and it was never processed. ( I received notification the morning I was departing) It would have been better to not offer that option, than it to be never processed

Liked: The check-in dude was kind. There was a parking space available. The location is good for traveling to and from by car. The Locks have convenient key cards, which are usable for the outside doors. There was a fridge in the room.
Disliked: I did a pre-check-in online, like they asked via email. That was not used; they redid the check-in at the desk. :-( We were aware that this was not the best hotel in the city. But the continental breakfast consisted only of bagels, yogurt, cornflakes, and cupcakes, together with juices, moderate coffee, tea, and milk. We expected a bit more like waves and a cleaner environment. It was a bit outdated, and a lot of doors and things were damaged. There was too much wear and tear. The room was noisy, lots of air conditioning, fridge, street, and other rooms' noises. We have experience with our family in hotels, and we usually have a good night's sleep. Not in this hotel, though.
