The Spotlight on Days Inn by Wyndham Denver Downtown

Affordable Comfort Steps from the Stage

Modern and modest, Days Inn by Wyndham Denver Downtown is a budget-friendly hotel located directly across the street from the Ogden Theater and just a short drive from the city's major venues and attractions. With a laid-back vibe and practical amenities like free Wi-Fi and in-room coffee makers, it's a smart choice for music fans wanting convenience without the high price tag.

Whether you're catching a show at a nearby venue or exploring downtown Denver, this hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable stay without unnecessary frills.

Check-in starts at 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM.

Why Concert-goers love it

With the Ogden Theater literally across the street and the Pepsi Center just five minutes away by car, you’ll spend more time enjoying the music and less time getting there. The location makes it easy to walk home after a late night show, and the area’s accessible street layout means rideshares are quick and convenient. While the hotel is close to the action, its rooms are tucked away enough to offer a bit of peace once the encore ends.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to stay together affordably near the venues
  • Solo travelers catching a bucket-list set
  • Couples making a weekend of it in downtown Denver
  • Fans needing a quieter space to recharge post-show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who’d rather spend on merch than lodging

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant, the hotel’s central location means you’re within walking distance of late-night eats, classic diners, and trendy coffee shops. Perfect for grabbing a bite after the final encore or a lazy breakfast the next morning. In-room coffee makers make mornings easier, too.

Nightlife Options

You’re in the thick of it—bars, lounges, and live music joints line Colfax Avenue. From classic dive bars to local breweries and cocktail spots, it’s easy to keep the night going. While the hotel itself doesn’t host live music, you’re never far from your next set.

What People Say

Guests love the unbeatable location, especially for concerts at Ogden Theater. Many mention the helpful staff and value for money. The free Wi-Fi and clean rooms are also frequently highlighted, making it a practical, no-fuss stay in the heart of the action.

Areas for Improvement

This is a no-frills hotel, so don’t expect luxury. Some guests note that the building feels a bit older and parking can be tight (with a $15 fee), but most agree the location makes up for it. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs if staying during a busy show night.

The Bottom Line

If you want a clean, affordable place to crash right next to the venue, Days Inn by Wyndham Denver Downtown hits all the right notes.

Not worth the cheap price or proximity to downtown.

Liked: Close to Ogden Theater.
Disliked: Scary! I was accosted by several unsavory men outside. Heard screaming in the room down the hall. Only one outlet in the whole room worked. Tiny bathroom, broken lamp. Homeless man got stabbed in gas station across the street - sirens!

Scam location

Liked: Location
Disliked: They scammed me twice out of the deposit. I have a video when I left the property and it was just as I left it yet they took the deposit. Twice now. Evan

Decent enough single night stay...

Liked: The staff were respectful and east to communicate with. The interior of the room was kept up well enough as well.
Disliked: location is in a shoddy side of town that happened to have a punk-metal performance across the street at the time of my arrival. So as expected there was a party going on and the area also had some homeless making loud noise in the morning hours.

Bad

Liked: I didn't like anything about this hotel.
Disliked: There is a very large homeless population around the hotel and in it. The rooms are renovated but there was still cigarette or meth pipe burns on the sink in my room. There is construction right in front of the hotel and The noise around the hotel at night is terrible...people screaming, loud music, homeless people walking past your door at night asking others for cigarettes...etc. The room doors lead directly to the outside, so you hear literally everything. My room door looked like it had been pried open with a crowbar and there is a large amount of trash in the parking lot. There was a dumpster near the side of the hotel with a used mattress just laying there and used sex toys strewn about. The lamps in the rooms have glass bases and the one on my nightstand had some amber colored liquid/sticky substance on it. The main light in the room was burnt out so we had to use the bathroom light. We paid $275 for 2 rooms here....could have gone to Hyatt place or best western plus for that price and had a much more peaceful/comfortable stay. Parking was $15 extra TO PARK IN THE HOTEL PARKING LOT. Free breakfast means gallons of milk in a mini fridge and a loaf a bread to make your own toast. 10/10 do not recommend.
