Disappointing!

Liked: The coffee was hot. The area where the breakfast was served was over crowded. The food ran out, due to the number of people in the breakfast area.
Disliked: The Days Inn had a very nice reception person. The hotel has not had .updates in maybe 50 years. No security entrance, just walk in the door. No elevator, you carry your suitcase up the stairs. No security to enter the pool area. A dangerous situation. Kids ran the halls until midnight. Kids were knocking at my door past 11 pm. My food froze in the refrigerator. When I asked how to turn it down, I was told " I don't know, I think you move it to 4 or 5." The change froze all my water, along with the food.I asked for a government rate, and ended up paying $150 more than the Hilton, Springhill (Marriot), and Hampton (Hilton). For $220 a night, it was not worth it, at all.

Less than adequate!

Liked: The breakfast was very basic. If you didn't get there early, not sure if they replenished. I did not see anyone Tadd to the empty eggs, eggs. Someone did clean the tables when a guest left the table.
Disliked: The cost of the Inn was twice the price of the Marriot and Hilton properties. It did not have an elevator. I carried my bags upstairs. It did not have a fitness center or laundry for guests. For twice the price of other hotels, I can't recommend this hotel to any business traveler. The room smelled like cigarettes; the sink greeted me at the door upon entry. The lock had to be manipulated to work. The lamp fixtures did not provide enough room to plug in my devices. The lamp fixture extended over the plugs, restricting access. The bed was well slept in "a hot dog bed". I had to sleep on the edges for fear of sinking into the center.

Don't go here.

Liked: The location.The breakfast was decent.
Disliked: The walls are paper thin so you hear everything. They allow dogs throughout the hotel so we had to endure barking dogs next door to us. We left our dog at home just to come there and have to listen to someone else's dog. That is not ok.We were there for a hockey tournament, but there was one team that was loud at night right outside our door. They even pulled up chairs and had a party right outside our door. Both nights. They were never told to be quiet even though it was 3:00 in the morning.The cleaning staff is loud when they're cleaning and it sounds like they're arguing (in spanish). It's hard to rest after a night of not sleeping and then hear them being loud.The noise issue is clearly not of any concern at this hotel because when we stayed there a year ago it was the staff having a party during the night oblivious to their guests wanting to sleep.So unprofessional.Our rooms were not ready when we got there after check in time.I could put up with the 80's vibe and smoke smell, but when I'm paying $370 Canadian for TWO nights and didn't get any sleep, that is unacceptable. A decent breakfast isn't a good enough reason to go there. It wasn't great.I think we should have gotten a complete refund but we just wanted to get out of there.We will not be back and would encourage others to drop their hard earned money elsewhere.

Liked: I thought the staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was pretty good with a verity to choose from. The pool decent size.
Disliked: There is a few things I didn't like or care for is one the shower head had pinkish buildup on the shower head, also the spa(hot tub) was not hot at all it was barely warm. My family got the king suit and the sofa bed did not come with pillow sheets or blankets!
