Pleasant

Liked: Basic accommodations. Near a truck stop, fast food, and interstate. We stayed because it was near my daughter's school one night when heating was being repaired. Breakfast bar had almost nothing. Thankfully they did have a waffle iron. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Liked: The staff was extremely casual and not professional. I had prepaid throughbooking.com and when I checked in I was told I also had to pay an additional damage fee a $50 that would be refunded 3 to 5 days after I checked out.There were automatic openers on the front doors so it was very difficult bringing in luggage. I can't imagine how challenging it would be for someone who needed handicap accessibility. I heard several other guests commenting the same thing.Originally I had booked a single king size bed because I'm traveling by myself. After I checked in and was told my room number I asked for directions on how to get there because the check-in person didn't offer any directions. I was told to go down the hall and up the stairs. I asked if there was an elevator and was told no. I told him that I did not want to deal with the stairs, he was able to find me a double queen size room on the ground floor. So just be very mindful there is no elevator.The space seemed relatively clean but was obviously worn. I will attach some pictures.On the first day of my stay I went out to get some food and came back and my door key did not work. I went back to the front desk and there was a different person there than the night before. She told me that she would make me another one and when I ask what happened she said maybe the guy who checked me in the night before only put me in for one day. There was no apology for the inconvenience but it was a quick fix.Breakfast is included and upon check in I was told it was from 6:00 to 9:00. The first morning I was there I went down about 6:15 and it was not set up. However there was a highly disgruntled person checking out and I'm sure that was a factor.The breakfast included cold cereal with a shared gallon jug of milk, yogurts, a waffle station, bagels and bread for toasting. There were jams, cream cheese and real butter available. There was a juice stand with apple and orange juice.
