Disliked: I’m writing to you about a recent experience at the Days Inn Brooksville Florida. I’ve attached a copy of the Booking.com stay for your convenience. There were two shady issues that I’d like investigated to make sure nothing is going on at this property. I called and left a message for the manager, but my call was never returned.My stay was arriving Sunday July 20th checking out Monday July 21st. Upon my arrival shortly before 11:00pm Sunday July 20th, I was sitting in my vehicle finishing a phone call. At 11:00pm a male employee wearing a blue Days Inn shirt left the building and entered his vehicle (my assumption it was his) and drove a short distance to the back of the hotel, turned his vehicle off and sat there for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then he exited the vehicle and walked up the parking lot pretending to be looking at the building and using his cell phone to record himself taking a selfie video but was pointing the phone at me. Once he got to the front of the building, he crossed into the center of the parking lot walking back down to his vehicle but this time pointing the phone directly at me. To say this was odd and alarming is understatement. I don’t think Wyndham or Days Inn would permit their employees to take videos/photos of their guests. This made me feel very uncomfortable.I stay at many of your properties regularly on business and have never had any problems. I’m very familiar with the standard types of emails I receive from Days Inn/Wyndham which are all stock/standard emails about confirmations, checking in, checking out and asking for ratings/reviews for them to manage quality. However, I received one earlier today which is attached for your review. This one is directly from an employee (Marilyn Diaz) sending me an email to my personal email address. I have never received an email directly from any hotel employee.

Somewhat sketchy

Liked: Staff is friendly.
Disliked: Pretty basic place and a little sketchy. Had a funky odor from the clunky A/C unit. Glad it was just one night!
