In addition to the deposit/fee; the customer/room service was beyond horrible. The front desk was notified that the toilet was inoperable, it was not flushing and that it needed immediate attention .The front desk clerk said it was an easy fix, that what I described could be fixed by plunging the toilet; and that I should come to the lobby and pick up a plunger, and do it myself. I called back a few hours later, spoke to the front desk clerk; again and reiterated that the toilet was inoperable and was again told to come to the lobby and get a plunger to dislodge the toilet myself. Of course, I did not, and had to use toilet facilities off-site. Also, the hotel advertised free breakfast. But, there was none. When I showed up to check out at 8:55am, I was told that the free breakfast (which they said consisted of nutrition/granola bar, coffee and orange juice) was over as I was late. But, when I looked on the counter top where the clerk indicated the free breakfast was, there was not even a granola crumb --not an insulated cup; not a carafe of hot water; not a stirrer; not a tea bag; not a juice mug. There was absolutely nothing there to indicate that the items described by the clerk was ever on the counter top; but, the clerk's explanation was that the reason why there was nothing is because when I arrived at 8:55am; I was late--even though the free breakfast is available from 500am to 900am. Last but not least, there were water bugs in the shower. No/zero stars given as this facility, in my opinion, and, based on my horrible, terrible, no good experience, with an inoperable toilet that I was told to plunge myself; that water bugs were found in the shower; that I w/as delayed and waited in the front lobby until room service looked over and radioed to the front desk that the room was left in good condition, but my deposit was not refunded right then and there; that there was no free breakfast as advertised; that my checkout was delayed as the front desk , ironically radioed their staff to check out the room before I could get a receipt; but, front desk refused to send a maintenance person to plunge the toilet during my one night stay! Extremely poor service and I do not recommend staying here at all, not even for one night as I did!
Liked: Location; close to venue.
Disliked: Everything was terribly bad from the moment of check in. First, the hotel required at the time of check in, a deposit/fee. I was not advised of this at the time the reservation was made. But, when I checked in and paid the deposit, I was told it would be refunded at check out; but it was not returned. Infact, I learned when I checked out that the deposit would not be returned after 3-4 days. Although the deposit/fee of $25 was a minor amount, and I was assured that upon checkout the fee/deposit would be returned upon check out, that was incorrect. First of all, the fee was never mentioned at time of reservation. Secondly, it was not refunded at the time of checkout. Although the fee was de minimis of only $25.00, I had problems with not being informed about it in the first place at time of reservation; and, I felt scammed and cheated that the deposit was not refunded immediately at checkout.

Liked: The only positive experience I had during my stay was the front desk staff's willingness to help with my refund. Once they realized I had been charged twice for the room due to a miscommunication between Booking.com and the hotel, the staff member promptly issued a refund—though I was told it would still take 5–7 days to process.
Disliked: I was charged twice for my room due to a miscommunication between Booking.com and the facility. After receiving an email confirming my stay, I was asked to provide a credit card to hold the reservation—only to later find I had been charged again. The one positive experience was that, once the front desk staff became aware of the issue, they processed a refund. However, I was informed it would still take 5–7 business days to reflect in my account.Unfortunately, the condition of the room was disappointing. The floor was still wet from mopping—when I used a towel to help dry it, the towel came back brown. There were crumbs on the chairs, and personal items from previous guests had been left behind. Although it was a non-smoking room, it had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Most concerning was a plastic bag wrapped around the fire alarm, which housekeeping had clearly overlooked.Additionally, the surrounding area had a strong, persistent smell of marijuana. Since recreational use is legal in the state, the odor was noticeable throughout the vicinity, which could be off-putting to some guests.Breakfast was a joke. There was only a basket of crackers.
