This hotel has not kept up with maintenance issues, and they seem to be short staffed. Although the staff was friendly. We noticed issues with slow drains when we arrived and poor toilet flow, and ended up having to plunge our toilet for an hour the next morning because we didn't want housekeeping to have to deal with it. Damage to walls in bathroom that was poorly patched, and wax seal of toilet was showing. Maintenance and repairs are needed. I was disappointed based on others reviews I had read.

Disliked: Dirty; toilet and drain issues; loud A/C unit.

Disliked: Construction vehicles in the parking lot but they'll be removed after the company gets done with the project.

Pleasant

Liked: The breakfast was good and the staff were great. We struggled with the location because of large freight trains adjacent to the property and our room blowing horns and rumbling off and on during the night.

Liked: Limited options. Eggs looked green and everything else was gone by the time my family got there.
Disliked: The bathroom was very small. The exhaust fan was very loud and there was no night light. The bath tub was not draining and the toilet was only 1 foot of the ground. The ear plugs were a plus since the train tracks were only 20 feet away from the hotel.

Liked: The receptionist was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The location was good for what we were looking for.
Disliked: The breakfast was quite disappointing.

Liked: The room was good size.
Disliked: Very noisy. Train that operates right behind the hotel blew their horn every time and ran all night long. Delivery truck i assume was delivering to McDonald's by the hotel and was extremely loud, this was around 1230am.

Maybe it was just my luck that night but it was chaotic and loud in the hallways and surrounding rooms. Then there is a blaring train that came through 4-5 times during the night. I was woken up multiple times by screaming and trains.
