Liked: The reviews that mention how clean and wonderful this place are must be from another decade. As of May 2025, this is a sad place. The front desk person (and by front desk, I mean the person also manning the drive through beer and liquor window behind the desk) was very pleasant, considering my daughter and I arrived after midnight. She offered me a free drink from the refrigerated wall of beer and assorted alcohol. That was lovely. I declined, since it was so late. My daughter and I were slightly concerned, since we were alone, but we are fully capable people, and able to look formidable easily, lol. There was only one guy out milling around at that hour, and we were both bigger than he was. Anyway, we opened the door to our room. The people who complained about road noise must not have turned on their air conditioner/heater. That thing drowned out every noise. Probably wouldn't have heard someone breaking into our car right outside our room, in fact. Anyway, the a/c worked, there were NO bedbugs, and...well, that's about the end of the positives.
Disliked: There were a couple of spiders to kill, plenty of dust/dirt in the corners, everything is dated and NOT in good condition, things were rusty, don't look up under the sink, beds weren't great. I accidentally spilled water under the sink where I needed to stand, so I used a washcloth to wipe it up. Wow. The floor didnt look dirty until I wiped it. Guess I couldn't see very well in the dim light. The white washcloth came off of the floor covered in dirt. I guess pink tile is what you want if you don't like to clean and you don't want it to be too obvious. Bottom line, if you're a trucker, this place may seem like a step up form your cab (but I doubt it). If you're female and have more than $50 to spend on a hotel room, don't stay here. This place is a solid 5.3, not the glowing 8.3 rating on Booking.com.
