Liked: The breakfasts were delicious. The location and views are superb. The staff were personable and very helpful. Free parking was appreciated.
Disliked: Gardens need tending. The bathroom was tight and out of date.

Great room, location and breakfast!

Liked: The Camelot room was wonderful with beautiful views! My family was very pleased with the entire stay and they want to come back. Check in was easy, parking was great and breakfast was excellent! Beds and linens were clean and quite comfortable. If you’re a very tall person, this room might not be for you as the ceiling has a lot of angles coming down and, as a 5’ 7” woman, the shower was shorter than what I’m used to. The location is great with easy access to the downtown area, felt perfectly safe and entirely walkable. My only critique would be, as a parent traveling with a teen, I thought the second bed would be a separate room but it’s a nook off the main space with a bed and no door. Kiddo loved everything with the exception of having to use a privacy screen to cover the space. We made it work but he was uncomfortable. I think if he were younger it would not have been an issue.

Charming Victorian gem by the...

Liked: What a gem. Incredibly charming house from the Victorian era, with Victorian furniture. Feels like being in a Bronté novel. The sea view is precious, so is the walking path by the waterfront. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Thanks to Lain we had a great stay. It’s a short walk from coffee shops and restaurants on cook street. Longer walk or short cab ride to downtown. Perfect place to stay and get some quiet relaxing time while still being close enough to everything really! And the cherry on top: they have twopet friendly rooms. Sthg you would not expect in such an antique but yea they do. Definitely coming back here.

Liked: Breakfast was good but repetitive. It needed more colour and fruit.
Disliked: The radiator was a bit too warm and I was unable to turn it down.
