Liked: Location is exzellent Dir my purposes
Disliked: They changed cushions and blankets to some synthetic, foamy material which made it impossible to sleep. Sadly no other cushions were available.

I really liked this hotel!...

Very quiet and lovely place...

Liked: The area was tranquil and peaceful, with a lot of nature surrounding it. The room was not very big, but it was enough for the stay since we spent most of the time exploring the surroundings, and we stayed for a short time in the room.
Disliked: The cleaning was not very thorough.

Liked: The room was small, but it had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any information about the Wi-Fi in the room, and as we were working and returning late each evening, there was no one at reception to ask. It would be really helpful to have all the key information available for guests upon arrival.We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, but we were kindly offered a free coffee, which was a lovely touch.The location suited our needs well, although it is quite a distance from Hamburg city centre.
Disliked: There’s really nothing to dislike about this hotel. It’s a basic but good, simple business hotel. I wouldn’t choose it for a honeymoon or a romantic stay, but for business travel, it offers everything you need.

Exceptional

Liked: I liked everything! Very comfortable and very close to the bus stop and 20min walk from the Blankenese train station.
Disliked: Everything was very nice!

Common balcony attached to my...

Disliked: I did not know there would be a commonly used balcony directly attached to my room. Upon opening the blinds/curtains, I saw a group of people sitting and drinking on a big balcony, which directly looked inside my room. If i left the curtains open, they could see all of my room. Plus, I could hear them chatter until 11 PM and cigarette smoke came inside my window. Even if the group was friendly, I did not feel comfortable opening the windows because of noise and smell, and anyone could climb inside the window at night. When trying to talk to the receptionist about it („The balcony was unexpected“) the woman only nodded and did not reply unfortunately. I really wanted to like the hotel as it was nicely located but this ruined it for me and should be more clear in the description!
