Superb

Liked: The olde world charm and spacious room was very appealing. The photos were accurate. There was no history of the property. It would have been nice to learn about the building and what it has been used for previously.
Disliked: There was no signage at the property, making it difficult to tell if we were at the right place. The elderly man who met us at the door was unsettling. He made both of us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. He appeared to be cross when we called the number as instructed on the front door.There was also a large rat in the kitchen area.

Charming but noisy

Liked: Spacious room in an old charmin building. Close to two train stations, shopping centre with a bunch of cafes and short walk from Olympic Park.
Disliked: Rather noisy from the street that was busy even at night. Only one bathroom for the whole floor, so some queueing.Also, I got some weird comments from the temporary host about 'such pretty girls travelling alone' and was offered drop off to the city at checkout (which I refused). Don't know if this was 'just' cultural and/or generation difference, but made me feel uncomfortable and on my toes the whole stay. That clearly affect overall rate, otherwise it is a decent place.

Liked: Great location for an event at the Arena, staff were very welcoming and the bed was so comfortable! Wish I had more time to explore the property, the building is absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful old home in a...

Liked: Great location close to train line and restaurants/ takeaway shops , and a big beautiful old house to stay in .
Disliked: The bed was worn down on the sides , like sleeping on an angle. There was cereal and toast available for a light breakfast last time we stayed there and didn't realise it was no longer on offer , mind you there's still a toaster / kitchen downstairs I assume can be utilised.

Relaxing & quiet stay at...

Liked: The hotel is located in a quiet street, just a few minutes walk from Homebush Station & shopping strip. Several nice restaurants are also within walking distance. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
