With views of Lord’s Cricket Ground and just a short walk from Regent’s Park, this upscale hotel offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. Stylish rooms with LCD TVs, a 24-hour gym, and on-site dining make it a great base for exploring London—and catching your favorite live shows.

Why Concert-goers love it

With St John's Wood, Marylebone, and Baker Street Tube stations all less than a mile away, getting to major music venues like the O2 Arena, Roundhouse, or Jazz Café is quick and easy. After a late-night show, return to a quiet, residential neighborhood for a restful night. The hotel’s 24-hour gym and lounge bar are perfect for winding down or recharging, and the flexible check-out time of 12:00 means you don’t have to rush in the morning.

Food and Drink Options

The Pavilion Grill serves an à la carte menu and traditional afternoon tea, perfect for a pre-show bite or a slow morning after. The hotel offers 24/7 room service—ideal for those late-night munchies after the encore. There are also plenty of walkable eateries and cafés around Marylebone for more variety.

Good but not as good...

Liked: The Hotel has a luxury feel and the Concierge was very helpful. The location is very convenient for Lords and buses / Underground into Central / West London. The rooms had a Hairdryer, Iron & Ironing Board, Bath Robes and Slippers, as well as a Kettle for Tea and a Nespresso Coffee Machine with 3 pods and all toiletries, as you would expect for a modern 4* luxury hotel.
Disliked: The Air Conditioning unit was very loud and switched itself on automatically in the middle of the night, waking me up. There were no instructions in the room and ended up Googling how to turn it off because turning the temperature up / down didn't make a difference. Pressing both buttons together seemed to work but it was hard to get back to sleep after that. The rooms are double glazed and somewhat insulated from outside noise but you are still disturbed by other guests leaving and entering their rooms at all hours, because the doors are on springs and slam shut, rendering other soundproofing somewhat futile. You can also hear people moving around in the rooms above. The hotel serves a lot of airline staff so there is activity late into the night and in the early hours. We were told on arrival that our rooms had been given a complimentary upgrade to "Deluxe" rooms, but they were identical to the ones we had last year and both were booked as standard doubles via booking.com, so we were ripped off one time or the other! They're well equipped but aren't that spacious for the price. I think they would feel bigger if they did away with the coffee table, which isn't really needed as well as the desk / dressing table. Having looked on the website, the "Deluxe" rooms are the same as their standard equivalents, but have apparently been more recently redecorated; but I don't see why guests should have to pay more because the hotel have refurbished some rooms. Would make more sense to offer a discount on the unrefurbished ones. Felt like a bit of a scam, especially as they sent a marketing email a few days before our stay, inviting us to pay for an upgrade. Seems like they've got so far through the refurbishment that they don't have many "standard" rooms left, so ask guests to pay to upgrade and then have to give them a "free" upgrade anyway if they don't!
