Liked: Absolutely everything!! The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The history and character it offers, the stunning views from every corner, the incredible food served at dinner and breakfast, the lovely drinks served in the cocktail bar along with every single member of staff that were so welcoming, polite and helpful in every way possible. We had the the most incredible room, perfect beyond words to the point I didn’t actually want to go home (and I love being at home)The stay was a surprise for my partner’s Birthday and to say the staff made it absolutely perfect with beautiful chocolates and a hand written card on arrival in our room and again more beautiful chocolates served to us after our meal is an understatement…there are not enough words for both of us to say how much this meant to us.

Liked: All staff we came into contact with were lovely - friendly, polite and so helpfulBedroom was very comfortable, warm and clean Lovely shower and toiletries Breakfast menu was very good. Food was excellent and freshly cookedPlenty of parking and lovely gardens
Disliked: We noticed that there were a couple of areas that were a bit careworn, but this did not detract from our enjoyment

Liked: Beautiful grounds, very quiet and peaceful, perfect for a weekend getaway. Views spectacular. Room very spacious and clean, superb bathroom. Food excellent and very nice helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

Liked: It's very hard to fault any aspect of the hotel, except the drink prices
Disliked: Drink prices, particularly cocktails

Liked: Beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. The staff were all lovely and very attentive.The spa was very relaxing and super clean. Had dinner one night and food was excellent.
Disliked: Nothing!
