Great location for Cades Cove...

Liked: Very friendly staff and quiet location in a woodsy setting. Made to order breakfast was available in two locations and were very filling with good coffee. Only drawback was the 8AM start for the breakfast. Our room was one of the shared wall duplex units but for the most part people were very quiet. Rooms were large and well equipped. We had plenty of towels and housekeeping and supplies were available on request. A nice welcome basket was left for our arrival. There is a general store along with the restaurants and I recommend giving their fried apple pie a try. Great location for getting to Cades Cove.
Disliked: I was glad we arrived in the daylight as after dark it's a bit harder to see with the low light levels around the units. All of Townsend was harder for us to get around after dark. The roads are not well-lit and the markings on the roads are very poor.
