Great food and brilliant restaurant/bar...

Liked: Comfortable room. Food very good. Excellent staff in the bar and restaurant. Lovely outlook and grounds. Enjoyed the pool
Disliked: Some cleanliness issues in room. Our room was on the first floor, so shocked to see the window cleaner cleaning our window at 9am. I had just come out the shower and had to hide to the side of the partially closed curtain. You couldn't make it up? Family think it hilarious!

Fantastic Hotel

Liked: The hotel was fantastic. They gave us a twin room even though we only booked a double. Room was spacious and clean with a large Bathroom with bath and large shower. It also had a terrace area leading out to the garden. The food was excellent and Staff really helpful and Friendly. Simple things like filling up our water glasses at Dinner were appreciated, also they allowed us to borrow a bottle opener for the night because we took some drinks back to our room. Large garden with a pond and model village at a cost of £3.50 each. Would definitely stay here again.

Away from the crowds and...

Liked: Location was lovely, remote but grounds are stunning and so peaceful.Breakfast was great and staff very helpful.
Disliked: Room maintenance was below par. One morning only half the room was tidied up, the next morning only the curtains were opened which we wanted left closed as the weather was hot & bins weren’t emptied or bed straightened up.

Relaxing and peaceful

Liked: Lovely quiet idyllic setting, we stayed in one of the pods and it was lovely, comfortable and clean with ducks wandering around our garden area.
Disliked: Bar staff inattentive when dealing with table orders, don’t even acknowledge us. Only 1 serving when there were 3 of us waiting. Breakfast food good but evening meal underwhelming.
