Damon's Hotel

Disappointing

Liked: Value for money as it was really cheap - but i would rather pay more for a smarter hotel room
Disliked: Very tired and souless. Staff were friendly but it was just a poor location and the decor was awful - very american diner or motel from the 1980's

Great find

Liked: It is local to my sons house. The hotel is always clean, and the staff are lovely.
Disliked: All was good

Liked: Exceptional. Delicious, and more than I could manage. Coffee was very good and endless supply! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Many thanks!

Liked: Staff great, car park ample, very clean.
Disliked: The bed was very hard. Staff did their best supplying extra duvets as mattress toppers. However we left a day early couldn't face another night

Great location but hotel old...

Liked: Great location
Disliked: Rooms were very warm. Shower wasn't very powerful. Plugs poorly placed so couldn't be used. Also bed was on wheels kept moving around.

Affordable but basic.

Liked: The location was good, it's well positioned to get to a variety of other places. The price was also very good. A very polite man checked us in, he was very nice.
Disliked: The room wasn't very clean, there were hairs on almost every surface, as well as stains on the towels. The shower didn't work properly, when you twisted the head to use all the nozzles, it lost all pressure. So you could only use it on a narrow spray. The bed was really soft, too soft, it felt like a waterbed and I couldn't sleep on it.
