Pleasant.

Liked: Nice place. Restaurant and leisure facilities good.
Disliked: Bed was too hard. Furniture dated in some parts. Average size room for one described as “Superior king”. The fridge smelt bad.

Exceptional

Liked: The grounds, activities, swimming pool, huge gym, amazing breakfast and very quiet rooms

Nice for a week but...

Liked: The rooms were nice the pool and facilities there were lovely.
Disliked: Some of the staff have an awful case of looking miserable. I get it though. Some of the other guests were inconsiderate. Leaving their cars in front of the disabled bays. The restaurants were pretty expensive too. The room had no main lights but a series of small lights throughout which meant it could be quite dark.

Great hotel, beautiful grounds.

Liked: Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds. Very welcoming staff. Food in the brasserie was very good. Easy to travel to airport from the hotel. Golf courses looked great so hubbie may well be tempted back with his club's Yh kiNom
Disliked: Easy to get lost within hotel complex even with a map. Could do with a few signs pointing the way to reception, especially from the main accomodation building.

Very good

Liked: Beautiful setting with great facilities within easy reach of Edinburgh (recommend taking the bus into town). Grounds to wander around and explore and all the sporting facilities you could want. Breakfast buffet and setting was great with friendly and helpful service.
Disliked: The weather - but that's hardly the hotel's fault!
