Liked: It was just what we wanted.
Disliked: Room 15 the toilet seat wouldn't stay up causing problems. We were woken at 4.30 when a fire alarm went off- there was no fire.

Disappointing

Liked: Property clean . Bed comfortable . Bathroom clean Breakfast well cooked and served
Disliked: Radiator didn’t work .However more seriously the owner needs to do something about the fire safety procedure before a tragic occurrence happens, as the owners are in breach of fire safety regulations . The duty manager , asleep in her own home across the road did not hear the alarm . I rang the number on the email and got the security firm .The security guy said he had tried to raise the duty manager by telephone but had got no answer . He directed me how to turn the alarm off by my being sent to find the box up and down stairs before l located it . Following this . I checked around myself to see if l could detect smoke . One couple who had been sitting in their car came back in and another couple hanging around outside did the same . At breakfast l noted that there were 16 people at least in the hotel last night . The duty manager told me that she had not heard the phone . This is a very serious situation , l would be grateful to hear how it has been addressed .

Disliked: There was no one on reception and the fire alarm went off in the early hours and it took me a while to get through to the owners and no one came out to check on the hotel

Liked: Checking in was very good. Everything was explained in the booking. Room was bright - clean , warm and everything was "first class". The breakfast - well that was "brilliant". Any kind of cereal was on display, fresh fruit, yoghurts etc. We had the full English - (good job we weren't running a marathon) it was well presented and everything on the plate was hot. This is certainly a "gem" of a place. If the occasion arises again - we would certainly book it.

Liked: Good breakfast and plentiful. Reasonable location to Keighley centre - only a few miles away.
Disliked: Bed was uncomfortable, soft mattress meant we kept rolling into each other through the night.Bathroom certainly wasn't cleaned to the high standards it claims to be - Shower screen dirty, beaker for using at sink hadn't been cleaned since previous occupants - still had remnants of toothpaste or whatever inside.
