A good base for discovering...

Liked: Had a 2x double bedroom for a stay with my mother and my daughter. The room was comfortable, a decent size and the bathroom was well-designed.All staff were very friendly and helpful - receptionist, restaurant staff in the bar in the evening and for breakfast in the morning. All food was of a good home cooking standard. The price we paid for a one night stay was very good value for money - especially when including the breakfast.
Disliked: There’s nothing that would put us off returning again. We did hear a bit of car park noise. I had a bit of trouble with my sat nav finding the way into the hotel from the road.

Disliked: The very poor customer service, paid 2 nights, had to leave due to unforeseen circumstances after 1 night, forfeit the cost ,ok..but still wanted to charge me for breakfast, disgraceful.. receptionist was very rude and not very helpful...I left in disgust rather than argue...never again
