Good
Liked: Hotel is nice Ian’s remote it’s quiet and pleasant, staff were friendly. I was told needed to book table for dinner as it was fully booked got down there and it was empty, Spa was nice and quiet, food was fine. My only slight complaint is as we have been going through the heatwave there is no air con in the rooms and it was so hot.

Was lovely and peaceful.
Liked: The old character style and it setting in the country side.
Disliked: Even though i loved the period style, it does need some tlc throughout the building.

Liked: The location
Disliked: Whole building was in need of some TLC, window frames were rotten and in need of repair.. Holes around the socket on the wall, paint peeling off the walls. Television didn’t work!! Price did not reflect the property , breakfast was extra!!

Gorgeous little find on outskirts...
Liked: Great location. Stunning grounds. Lovely spa. Spacious room
Disliked: Quite dirty, but we didn’t mind. Lack of sugar and biscuits in the room. Bed 2 singles pushed together and not a double. Quite uncomfortable as very very soft.

Liked: Beautiful Traditional Hotel, most of the staff were very lovely. The countryside around the hotel is gorgeous. Enjoyed the pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, gym. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: The hotel advertises its "WiFi is available in all areas and is free of charge", and I needed wifi in my room for private meetings so I chose this hotel. However it doesn't work in several of the rooms. When I approached the manager, Rajesh, to request a solution he insisted that "if there is one line of wifi signal it means there is wifi" and he refused to agree that having wifi means having access to the internet rather than seeing lines on the wifi icon. He then told me that if I wanted wifi I should have booked the business room. But what would I do that if the hotel advertises its wifi to be everywhere? I requested a private space with wifi for my meetings and he said "oh so you are putting two obstacles now: wifi AND privacy"He suggested I use the tea room but people may go in. I asked for it to be locked during my meetings and he told me I had to pay extra if I wanted a private tea room booking. He eventually agreed for me to use the room privately after a lengthy discussion, however he kept insisting on the lines of the wifi icon. At the end he told me "I've solved your problem so I think you want to thank me now, don't you?"He was extremely rude and patronising and overall I don't think he is very capable of working in the hospitality industry. He was later having another argument with a different guest. The rest of the staff in the hotel were lovely and if it weren't for this episode, I would have had a lovely stay. Cleanliness in the pool area and women's dressing room was not great.
