Weekend in Pembrokeshire
Liked: We had a great 3-night stay at Cuffern Manor while visiting Pembrokeshire. Everything was clean and comfortable. Julian and Jayne were very friendly and fantastic hosts. We especially enjoyed the walled garden and the serenity of the grounds as well as the overall location in relation to the places to visit.
Disliked: Not much to dislike. We'd stay again.

Nice place but not so...
Liked: Beautiful garden and outlook from our room which was of a decent size. The bed was comfortable and on the whole the room was clean but we did spot mould in the shower. No tea / coffee in the room but could access in nearby lounge.
Disliked: Unfortunately we found our experience of Cuffern Manor to be disappointing for the money we spent on our stay. Julian and Jane are extremely controlling hosts and we felt watched during our stay with them. The breakfast was meagre - you will be served one piece of toast and (yes you could request more but this felt like it personally pained the host). There are various notes around the property requesting you to do and not do something. This felt childish and unprofessional. We also found Julian to be nosey and we were there to serve as their entertainment rather than be allowed to relax and enjoy the premises in peace. They say to let them know of any issues and we did - this was met with no apology but rather an excuse. Again, we found this unprofessional.

Exceptional
Liked: Julian and Jane were so welcoming and informative. The history of the house was interesting and I loved wandering around the gardens especially the delightful walled garden.

Relaxation at it’s best, great...
Liked: My husband is a lorry driver so he’s had a few breakfasts in his life and this one got a big 10 from us! The main reason for this trip was to visit St David’s Cathedral as I remember as a young child my father going away all week as an apprentice working on the cathedral so I just had to come and see it for myself. Oh boy I wasn’t disappointed!! It was absolutely stunning and I didn’t know about the fascinating history and what the building went through until our visit. Cuffern Manor was wonderful, it was peaceful, with stunning views and accommodation. The owners’s Jayne and Julian were both perfect hosts and very attentive when needed, but giving us the space and opportunity to explore and relax as we needed.
Disliked: Maybe the only comment that I could make was a small box of tissues in the room (only because I forgot to replace the pack I had in my handbag)

Exceptional
Liked: I enjoyed the graciousness and thoughtfulness of the hosts, the peacefulness of the manor and its surroundings. Mot having a car meant I walked into Roch which was quite delightful.
