Beautiful and welcoming.
Liked: The art work, beautiful decor, comfortable facilities and proximity to shopping and restaurants was wonderful.
Disliked: It was a little dark even though the black looked very sophisticated. I couldn’t find the cupboards due to the dark colour.

Beautiful hotel, but just a...
Liked: Modern & spacious rooms. Very clean. Great river and story bridge views. Reception staff friendly. Super comfy beds and pillow menu available. The hotel itself is beautiful with all the artwork by Vincent Fantuzzo.Very cool rooftop bar by the pool (FIUME) with great cocktails, bar menu and good service.
Disliked: Moody vibes to the rooms which is nice, however the lighting is very low. The rooms are quite dark at night. If you have a river-facing room, be aware that it gets noisy on Fri, Sat, Sun nights from the revellers going to and from the establishments at Howard Smith Wharves. In saying this, we were staying on a long weekend, so it may have been noisier than usual possibly.Room service food was mid and Mews restaurant service was very lacking, although the food and coffee were good.Hotel pool is nice but small. The location is beautiful, however not central to shopping, the mall etc. So if that is something you want to be very near to - I wouldn't stay here. This is location is more suited to eating & drinking at Howard Smith Wharves. Great if you are a walker/runner to exercise along the river each day also.
